The Flash Season 8 Finale is The Biggest in Star

Danielle Panabaker, The Flash season 8 finale will be the biggest one in years. Since resuming in 2022, The Flash season 8 has introduced one of the darkest storylines in the show's run. Loosely based on the DC Comics storyline Blackest Night, The Flash season 8 has focused on the villainous Deathstorm as Team Flash's latest big bad. While fans saw the Earth-2 iteration of Deathstorm in The Flash season 2, this season did a more comic-accurate take on the foe, who has been portrayed mostly by Robbie Amell. The Deathstorm storyline is coming to a conclusion this week after last week's episode ended with another causality for Team Flash. While Killer Frost defeated Deathstorm, it came at a price as she passed away at the end of The Flash season 8, episode 13, "Death Falls." Even though the Arrowverse has sometimes had a fake-out or two when it comes to character deaths, Frost's death is sticking, with this week's episode, "Funeral for a Friend," serving as a tribute. With only a few episodes left of The Flash season 8, there are still plenty of arcs to be wrapped up.

The Deathstorm arc gets wrapped up, things are a bit unclear about what will go down for the rest of The Flash season 8. No matter what is coming, it appears the finale will end with perhaps the biggest bang in years. In a new edition of TVLine's Inside Line, a fan inquires if they have any big teases about The Flash season 8 finale. TVLine shares a quote from Panabaker, who teases that this finale will be the biggest one they have done in the last few years.


The Flash has been able to do big things like Armageddon in the latest season, the COVID-19 pandemic has definitely had some continuous effects on the Arrowverse drama. Since the pandemic broke out, The CW hasn't been able to do traditional crossovers due to the heavy involvement of multiple production crews. That is what resulted in Armageddon happening, which was a crossover-like event for The Flash season 8. Things have definitely gotten a little easier, but production is still having to work with various health protocols, as do a lot of shows that are filming. What The Flash season 8 finale will have in store remains to be seen. While the title has yet to be revealed, episode 20 is currently set to air on Wednesday, June 29. Panabaker has also stated that The Flash season 8 will include some familiar faces, which is normal for the finales. The last episode is also set to have a surprising cameo that no one has guessed so far. Whatever is coming, it looks like The Flash season 8 finale will be something not to miss.
